A Therapy Toolbox of Resources to Support your Practice

Access my Therapy Toolbox archive of useful CPD for your professional and personal development, created by a fellow therapist.

A resource library for therapists, CPD reading, reflective practice, and tools for our work.

As therapists, we know that same themes that bring clients to the therapy room are often the very things we need to keep returning to in ourselves.

Letters from Therapy is a membership resource library written from inside the therapy room by a therapist with 16 years of clinical experience, for all people working on themselves, and for the people supporting others through it.

Whats Inside Letters from Therapy:

Hundreds of pages of psychotherapy-informed writing around clinical topics in human language. I offer therapeutic journaling questions (that you can also ask your clients), guided meditations and visualisations for you, and reflective exercises from the therapy room, for yourself or to use with clients.

These resources are here to guide you between supervision sessions, feeding your inner supervisor and growing your understanding of the topic your client, or you, are working on.

Inside you’ll find:

  • in-depth articles exploring counselling and psychotherapy themes and presenting issues, insights, and inspiration

  • journalling prompts for personal reflection, including questions you could ask clients

  • therapeutic exercises that may help you or your clients

  • worksheets and practical resources to deepen your understanding

  • writing on self-development, therapeutic concepts, insights from a full life

  • guided meditations and visualisations for your own personal development

  • new materials every week

How will the Therapy Toolbox Archive at Letters from Therapy Support Me?

Many counsellors and psychotherapists use the membership as a space for their own personal development, and as a resource to draw on when working with clients.

Having a well-written, psychologically-grounded article on grief or people-pleasing can give you a deeper insight into their experience, keeping you well informed, and a step ahead. It can help you with:

  • ongoing reflective practice

  • clinical inspiration

  • deeper thinking between client sessions

  • ideas for client work

  • journalling, meditations and exercises for your own self-awareness

  • a place to keep learning outside formal trainings

  • something nourishing between supervision sessions

  • continuing professional development

About me

I'm Kate, a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with 16 years of experience working with clients in private practice.

My training draws on humanistic, person centred, Gestalt, Jungian, psychodynamic, TA, psychoanalytic, and Buddhist psychotherapy traditions.

I have a a Prof. Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and a MSc in Contemporary Gestalt Psychotherapy.

The Letters from Therapy archive covers a wide range of approaches, translated into human terms. I've also done my inner work, in therapy, training, in my own life as a mother to a now adult daughter, and having lived through loss and change, read extensively, and enjoyed regular meditation retreats.

My style and tone is human, warm, relational and honest, weaving in these topics so we can relate and process clinical topics from human hearts.
